This was my sister's birthday gift from me this year, and as she pointed out, it's a doll she isn't scared of!
Harry Potter was made from an American Girl Kirsten doll that needed serious TLC. I cleaned him up, and purchased a mohair wig, glasses, and boots. Wand is made from sculpey. His outfit consists of an off-white dress shirt, a burgundy silk tie with satin stripes (each stripe sewn on), dark grey pants, and a fleece sweater with gold and burgundy stripes. Robe is black poly-wool blend lined with burgundy silk. He's probably my favorite of all the dolls I've made, and is on display at my sister's  |
